TRCK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 4

In my quest to improve my indoor karting skills this year, I have been taking the TRCK series very seriously. My aim is to arrive at BRKC 2020 in January with at least one relevant regional indoor karting championship title to my name. With this in mind, it was time to do battle with my nemesis Josh Nie once again at TRCK Round 4.

I was unfortunate with the kart draw in the qualifying for the first race, ending up 3rd on the grid with Josh on pole. In the race I fared better, passing 2nd place several laps in, and chasing down Josh - before running out of laps by the time I eventually caught him. I took fastest lap in the process.

In race 2 I underperformed in qualifying, driving too conservatively and losing out on pole position by 0.007s. In the race I quickly took the lead and pulled away, eventually taking a comfortable win and fastest lap. Josh finished in second place.

My championship lead stayed exactly the same, as both myself and Josh scored the same number of points. Round 5 is on the first Sunday of July.
